10 Days Luxury Uganda and Rwanda Gorilla Safari

After breakfast at Serena Kigo, you will transfer to the airport for your domestic flight from Entebbe to Kasese. This flight reduces the long road journey and gives you a smooth luxury start to western Uganda.
On arrival at Kasese Airstrip, you will be welcomed and transferred by private vehicle to Kibale Forest National Park. You will check in at Tabebuia Resort, where you will spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for chimpanzee trekking the following morning.

After breakfast at Tabebuia Resort, your guide will transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking. You will attend a briefing before entering the forest with experienced guides in search of chimpanzees.
Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend time watching them feed, move, call and interact in their natural forest habitat. Kibale is one of Uganda’s best primate destinations, making this experience an important highlight of your safari.
After the trek, you will return to Tabebuia Resort for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a cultural experience around the Kibale community, where you learn about local traditions, daily life, farming practices and the connection between the nearby communities and the forest.

After breakfast at Tabebuia Resort, you will check out and begin your scenic transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through western Uganda’s beautiful countryside, rolling hills, farmlands and local communities.
On arrival in Bwindi, you will check in at Four Gorillas. The evening is for relaxation as you enjoy the peaceful forest setting and prepare for your Uganda gorilla trekking experience the next day.

After an early breakfast at Four Gorillas, your guide will transfer you to the gorilla trekking briefing point in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The ranger guides will explain the trekking rules, safety guidelines and what to expect before you enter the forest.
You will then trek through Bwindi’s thick forest in search of a mountain gorilla family. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, rest, groom and move through their natural habitat.
After the trek, you will return to Four Gorillas for lunch, relaxation and overnight.

After breakfast at Four Gorillas, you will check out and begin the cross-border journey from Uganda to Rwanda. You will be assisted with the border crossing before continuing toward Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda.
The route offers beautiful views of southwestern Uganda and Rwanda’s rolling hills. On arrival near Volcanoes National Park, you will check in at Sambora Kinigi and spend the evening relaxing before your Rwanda gorilla trekking experience.

After an early breakfast at Sambora Kinigi, your guide will transfer you to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for registration and briefing. You will be assigned a gorilla family before entering the forest with experienced ranger guides.
Volcanoes National Park offers a different gorilla trekking experience from Bwindi, with bamboo forest, volcanic slopes and beautiful mountain scenery. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one unforgettable hour watching them in their natural habitat.
After the trek, you will return to Sambora Kinigi for lunch, relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will return to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking. This experience takes you into the bamboo forest, where golden monkeys are often seen feeding, jumping and moving actively through the vegetation.
After the golden monkey experience, you will return for refreshment and later transfer to Lake Kivu. On arrival, you will check in at Serena Kivu for a relaxing lakeside stay. The evening is free for rest, lake views and peaceful relaxation.

After breakfast at Serena Kivu, you will enjoy a relaxed morning by Lake Kivu. This is a beautiful time to enjoy the calm lake atmosphere, fresh air, scenic views and peaceful surroundings after the primate experiences.
Later, you will transfer to Kigali, Rwanda’s clean and organized capital city. On arrival, you will check in at Kigali Serena Hotel for your final overnight stay. The evening is for relaxation before your departure day.

After breakfast at Kigali Serena Hotel, you will enjoy a Kigali city experience depending on your flight schedule. This may include selected cultural and historical highlights, local markets or scenic city areas.
After the city experience, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your 10 Days Luxury Uganda and Rwanda Gorilla Safari.
