6 Days Luxury Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari

After an early breakfast at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge, your guide will transfer you to the gorilla trekking briefing point. The park rangers will explain the trekking rules, safety guidelines and what to expect before you enter Bwindi Forest in search of a mountain gorilla family.
The trek can take a few hours depending on the location of the gorillas, but the experience is very rewarding. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend one unforgettable hour watching them feed, rest, groom and move through their natural forest habitat. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a cultural experience around the Bwindi community. This gives you a chance to learn about local traditions, community life and the people living near the forest.

After breakfast, you will leave Bwindi and enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most beautiful lakes. The route offers lovely views of terraced hills, rural villages and the green landscapes of southwestern Uganda.
On arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, you will enjoy the calm lake atmosphere, island views and peaceful scenery. Depending on timing, you may enjoy a boat ride, lakeside relaxation or a simple scenic experience around the lake. Later, you will check in at BirdNest Resort Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at BirdNest Resort Lake Bunyonyi, you will check out and begin your scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes you through beautiful countryside, rolling hills, local towns and changing landscapes as you move from the lake region toward Uganda’s famous savannah park.
On arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will check in at Elephant Plains Lodge. The lodge offers a comfortable luxury setting with beautiful views and easy access to the park’s main wildlife areas. The rest of the day is for relaxation, enjoying the lodge and preparing for the next day’s wildlife safari.

After an early breakfast at Elephant Plains Lodge, you will head out for a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive gives you a chance to search for wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, warthogs and different bird species.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a Kazinga Channel boat safari, one of the best wildlife experiences in the park. The boat safari offers chances to see hippos, crocodiles, water birds and animals coming to the channel to drink.
After the boat safari, you will return to Elephant Plains Lodge for dinner and overnigh

After breakfast at Elephant Plains Lodge, you will check out and transfer to Mweya Airstrip for your domestic flight back to Entebbe. This flight gives the safari a comfortable ending by reducing the long road journey from Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On arrival in Entebbe, you will be assisted with your onward arrangements. Depending on your schedule, you may be dropped at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Entebbe, marking the end of your 6 Days Luxury Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari.
