On arrival at Kasese Airstrip, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred by private 4x4 vehicle to the Kibale region. You will check in at Kyaninga Lodge, one of the finest luxury lodges near Kibale Forest National Park. The rest of the day is for relaxation, enjoying the beautiful views and preparing for chimpanzee trekking the next morning.

After breakfast at Kyaninga Lodge, your guide will transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking. You will attend a briefing by the park guides before entering the forest in search of chimpanzees.
Kibale Forest is one of Uganda’s best places for chimpanzee trekking, and the experience gives you a chance to observe chimpanzees as they feed, move, call and interact in their natural forest habitat. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.

After breakfast, you will check out and begin the scenic drive from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes you through beautiful western Uganda landscapes, crater lake scenery, farmlands and countryside views.
On arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will check in at Elephant Plains Lodge. This luxury lodge offers beautiful views and easy access to the park’s main wildlife areas. The rest of the day is for relaxation as you prepare for your wildlife safari experience.

After an early breakfast at Elephant Plains Lodge, you will head out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The game drive gives you a chance to see wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, warthogs and many bird species.
You will return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a Kazinga Channel boat safari, one of the best wildlife experiences in the park. The boat safari offers excellent chances to see hippos, crocodiles, water birds and animals coming to the channel to drink.

After breakfast at Elephant Plains Lodge, you will check out and begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Depending on the route and timing, you may pass through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions.
You will continue through scenic countryside, rolling hills and beautiful landscapes before reaching the Nkuringo side of Bwindi. On arrival, you will check in at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge and spend the evening relaxing with views of the forest and surrounding highlands.

After an early breakfast at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge, your guide will transfer you to the gorilla trekking briefing point. The park rangers will explain the trekking rules, safety guidelines and what to expect before you enter Bwindi Forest.
You will then trek through the forest in search of a mountain gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, rest, groom and move through their natural habitat. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a cultural experience around the Bwindi community. This gives you a chance to learn about local traditions, community life and the people living near the forest.
