Your 8 Days Luxury Uganda and Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Adventure begins with pickup in Entebbe and assistance for your domestic flight to Kasese Airstrip. This flight gives the safari a smooth luxury start by reducing the long road journey to western Uganda.
On arrival at Kasese Airstrip, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred by private vehicle to the Kibale Forest region. You will check in at Kyaninga Lodge, a beautiful luxury lodge with scenic views and a peaceful setting near Kibale Forest National Park. The rest of the day is for relaxation as you prepare for chimpanzee trekking the next morning.

After breakfast at Kyaninga Lodge, your guide will transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing, you will enter the forest with experienced guides in search of chimpanzees.
Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend time watching them feed, move, call and interact in their natural forest habitat. After the chimpanzee trekking experience, you will return for lunch and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast at Elephant Plains Lodge, you will check out and begin the scenic transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Depending on the route and timing, you may pass through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, an area known for tree-climbing lions.
You will continue through beautiful countryside, rolling hills and local villages before arriving in the Nkuringo region of Bwindi. On arrival, you will check in at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge and spend the evening relaxing as you prepare for gorilla trekking.
After an early breakfast at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge, your guide will transfer you to the Bwindi gorilla trekking briefing point. The park rangers will explain the trekking rules, safety guidelines and what to expect before you enter the forest.
You will trek through Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of a mountain gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, rest, groom and move through their natural habitat.
After the gorilla trekking experience, you will return to the lodge for refreshment and lunch before starting the cross-border transfer to Kigali. On arrival in Kigali, you will check in at Kigali Serena Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park offers a beautiful gorilla trekking setting with bamboo forest, volcanic slopes and mountain views. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend one unforgettable hour watching them in their natural habitat.
After the trek, you will return to One and Only Gorilla’s Nest for lunch, relaxation, dinner and overnight.
